Vice President for Special Affairs,
Church of Scientology
Flag Service Organization

T

But now, individual and group involvement on a continuing basis marks local projects that are destined to create permanent improvement downtown.

The Association aims at beautifying the heart of the city and bringing in more retail stores — and has already made forward strides in efforts to revitalize the downtown, as described in this issue. Among other things, it works with store owners on renovations that will result in a further “face-lift” for downtown and raises funds for murals and landscaping to enhance sections of the Pinellas Trail.

That recently completed trail, lauded as one of the best recreational pathways in the nation, is a community-supported project of which all residents of the community and county can be proud.
